What We Do

Our Chapter in the Community

Our chapter’s mission is to promote patriotism, historic preservation, education, and serving our veterans and community.

  • Our chapter is committed to serving the veterans in our community with several projects. We gather household items to go in an apartment for a formerly homeless woman veteran and we make regular collections of personal items and puzzles to go to the Veterans Administration Hospital and care center.
  • We support the children and teachers of our community by gathering school supplies to donate to Denver Public School students whose families are experiencing homelessness.
  • Every September, our chapter distributes information about Constitution Week and Citizenship Day to local schools.
  • A prospective membership workshop is held at least three times a year and we encourage prospective members to bring any family history they have. Volunteer genealogists are on hand to assist in research. Please Contact Us before planning to attend.
